Supplier Agreement

As part of our ongoing commitment to ensure our clients are being delivered with the best outcomes possible we are required to have our ‘Preferred Suppliers’ provide us with a copy of their current Public Liability insurance as well as a copy of their Work Cover Certificates and any appropriate trade licences if applicable.  

We would appreciate if you could please provide a copy of these statements by completing the online link above within the next seven (7) days.  

Certificate(s) of Currency – Renewal/Expiry
Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd and Bendigo Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd cannot engage any contractors until we are provided with valid certificates of currency.

Once you have been accepted as an approved contractor you will be required to forward to Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd and Bendigo Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd a renewed/updated certificate when your current certificate is either due for renewal or has expired. It is preferred that this action is taken before your certificate(s) has/have expired.

Where our records will indicate that a certificate of currency is due for renewal or has expired we will endeavour to advise you, however the responsibility for keeping Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd provided with valid certificates ultimately rests with the contractor.

Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd and Bendigo Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd is committed to upholding the right to privacy of all individuals who have dealings with the Company. Unless required by law or by a Court or tribunal, the Company will take the necessary steps to ensure that the personal information that members of the public share with us remains confidential.

Certification
a.) I / We hereby certify that:
• all persons, employees and sub-contractors used by us have the necessary training and qualifications to carry out all work in a safe and satisfactory manner, without placing themselves, any other person, or employees of Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd and Bendigo Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd at risk of injury or illness.
• We are not directly employed by Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd and Bendigo Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd and are in fact separate contractors engaged win work for other persons and organisations as well as Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd and Bendigo Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd or any of it’s associated entities
• All work will be carried out in a safe and competent manner and that all machinery, processes, equipment and materials used or supplied by us will comply with any relevant Australian Standards and with the requirements of Victoria’s OHS legislation and regulations and/or other relevant Codes of Practice or Standards.
• We are aware of and understand all appropriate legislation etc, as noted above, for the type of work we are doing, and have read/understand any appropriate Workplace Standards Authority’s (WSA) Safety Guides and reporting requirements.
• We note any work engaged by a tenant should be paid by the tenant upfront prior to commencing works, and that Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd and Bendigo Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd takes no responsibility for such engagements.
b.) I / We agree to:
• pay for or make good all damage caused by us or any employees or sub-contractors engaged by us and that we are responsible for any accident or injury or illness that may be caused to any of our employees or other persons under our control, whilst carrying out work for or on the premises of Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd and Bendigo Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd or any other client or company sites nominated by us.
• abide by any check-in procedures, notifications and safety rules (received in verbal or written form – now or in the future) pertaining to all work areas/property/premises owned or under the control or management of Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd and Bendigo Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd.
• advise Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd of any accidents, injuries, safety related equipment failures and property damage.

Acknowledgement of Acceptance
Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd and Bendigo Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd requires that you ensure all your employees and other persons under your control are aware of all the abovementioned requirements before commencing any work for us or entering the premises we have been appointed to manage.
Should any mess directly or indirectly be caused by works carried out by you, then you agree that the appropriate clean-up will be completed as soon as practical.

Should a tenant engage our services directly, we understand that Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd and Bendigo Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd does not warrant that payment will be made by the managing agent unless the works are engaged and directed by Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd and Bendigo Ballarat Real Estate Pty Ltd on behalf of the Landlord.
